I want people to see that this is a serious place to study not just to get a degree, but rather to be ignited to go and share your faith with other people. I want it to be serious, minimalistic, yet with some play of image and text.
I tried to express everything through the play of type and image. I used Antiqua and Bebas Neue for the fonts and an image of a Roman soldier which I found on the web and traced. (I will ask for the rights to use it here, or ask how much will the author want for this modification) Instead of a spear I first put a sword into soldier's hand, but that looked too violent. Then I decided to put a Bible into his hand. In Ephesians 6 it is written that Bible is the spiritual sword, so I went with that idea. I also wanted to put the map of Nepal on the background but that made an image too packed, not minimalistic for sure. So I decided to stay with 3 versions: blue, golden and silver.

eu gostei muito do soldado defensor, as cores então que estranhas por causa da cor ouro e o azul, estas duas cores eu gosto, CNBS todo em cor ouro parece ficar melhor, esta muito bom a logotipo.
I have both problems with the idea of violence and religion AND with the logo itself. n my opinion this is off the table totally but if you want to make something better simplify the soldier, make it in solid colors and less grungy. A durer caps like font would make the connection with roman /latin and would give enough strength. The ribbon is from another movie...remove. Now, to explain my first phrase, the logo is violent and relates this with the bible, I am not a fundamentalist christian but I know that among our history sacred symbols ended in a sad connection with blood ,war , rasial hate and so on. I suggest make a more diplomatic choice in that direction.
Your opinion is mistaken in my understanding, first one is actually a soldier to war soldiers are there but the point is different is the soldier with the bible and not a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, atingil who wore a bow and arrow certesa with the distance with a sword to attack but would not give him this position in defense taking the bible to back ridding it of which already wants something that comes after the body shield, protecting his own life the book not to be destroyed or hit by an arrow or anything that can be thrown to reach the bible first shield then comes the body, or you realized that he was arremeçar the bible against the enemy? lol the person may even be cristão as I am, we have to analyze the actual situation, pays no attention what first comes to mind and the word of the Bible follows the same path, but there is not wrong to misinterpretation.

sua opinião no meu entendimento está equivocada, primeiro é realmente um soldado soldados são para guerrear mas o ponto ai está diferente o soldado está com a biblia e não uma espada em uma mão e na outra um escudo, quem o atingil usava um arco e flexa com certesa a distancia com uma espada não daria para atacar mas ele esta em posição de defesa levando a biblia para as costas livrando-a de qual quer coisa ja que depois do escudo vem o corpo, sua propria vida resguardando o livro para não ser destruido ou atingido por uma flexa ou qualquer coisa que possa ser arremessado pra atingir a biblia primeiro escudo depois vem o corpo, ou você entendeu que ele fosse arremeçar a biblia contra o inimigo? rsrs a pessoa pode até ser critão como eu também sou, temos que analisar de verdade a situação, não dá atenção o que primeiro vem a mente e a palavra da biblia segue o mesmo caminho, não está errada mas existe de interpretações erradas.
Well, logos ARE about what first comes to mind....that was what came for me. Also the grimace, the actual body position is one of attack (hit with the shield to stun and than with the sword- common spartan tehnique , borrowed by roman army)....But that's just me.
In a believer world is very common the image of the warrior of God. Thats why I understand what he want to do with the warrior.

Alpreacher I like teh idea, but I think you have to work a little more on the warrior image. And if Im not wrong thats a bitmap right?
I'm not sure if everyone does like it, maybe a few persons understand his idea, keep working in it.
i dont like the colors, if is a bible school, in my opinion has to be more quiet, not a warrior.
Thanks everyone for comments. I will keep working. The warrior was just on of the ideas. No, that warrior is not a bitmap, it is already curved. I meant to say that in that school they prepare spiritual warriors who can stand for the truth, not wimps who can do nothing for God. If it's too radical, no apologies. I agree with hueroth, that a "more diplomatic choice" has to be done.

Not good. Not Roman. If you you want be authentic — change letters, for contemporaneity — your gladiator must be graphically simple to understandble. And remember about «... cavalry ...» not Alexander's Phalanga. Try to read some about it and look for illustrations.
