I'm sorry, I just don't see how this has anything to do with pancakes and pastries.

And if you're somehow creating low carb pastries, this logo doesn't sell that effectively.

I agree w Erin- I can't really tell what your symbol is trying to represent. Also, just because red and yellow are colors associated with making people hungry- doesn't mean you have to go with red and yellow. I would think a more vibrant color scheme would work for pastries.

I agree with the above comments.

Also, forget about the drop shadow effect. It just makes your logo look really amateurish and brings nothing to the plate.
