Is the "o" an eye ball? I don't think that works, just looks odd.
I would try to design something a bit more interesting if you want it to stand out or be memorable.
Designing a personal logo is tough. Think about what you are trying to convey to the audience. Pyramid and eyeball... hmmm. So far, this says "this guy can see and is capable of creating basic shapes".
Also- I'm not sure what "graphic projects" is. Pretty vague. You might want to narrow that down and be more specific.
@g13design good suggestions, exactly what is your area of expertise? personally i think you could use your own advice and get a decent profile photo, or just don´t use any at all.
About your "this guy can see and is capable of creating basic shapes" comment i could say from your profile pic that you don´t like to comb your hair that are trying to eat something and have basic photoshop skills to use a posterize effect.
About "graphic projects" means that this client make projects about graphic or print nature. don´t know what part you don't understand.
But besides the short vision of your critique, it is still a good one. Thanks for the comment. I would love to see your WORK and see how YOU take your own advice.
@ideasfan if you are taking the time to analyze a brand, at least try to be concrete or specific. Most of the great brands of the world are made of common elements: nike, adidas, bmw.
If you have drawn a castle I would have understood it but playing with badly executed free masons symbols (pyramid & eye) is getting you nowhere except showing you really are just an uneducated high school dropout.
So... you think slapping some interesting symbols is going to make your logo look good?
Think again.
@splashter Do you know what "naming" stands for? If you do, then your brand stands for what exactly? that you splash things? are you a dolphin? Exactly what is your brand meaning or communicating? that you are a tucan that splashes?
I DO have a degree in design, im not a uneducated high school dropout... i know any designer can make mistakes, like including "masons symbols" as you call them... but on that basis, the louvre is mason, egypt is mason, USA is mason, and of course everything that has a pyramid is mason according to you.
At least that is what i understand from your thorough and useful comment so far.
To the part of your comment "you think slapping some interesting symbols is going to make your logo look good?:
A logo is not the same thing as a brand, just thought you should know that... can't tell the difference??? take this hint... BRANDS of the WORLD.
Yes, now in retrospective i realize that the brand i designed has OBVIOUS flaws but at least has legibility if you see it from a long distance, and the elements can be used to make a difference among boring brands, which the client also wanted.
Just to finish, I AM THINKING AGAIN, thanks for your suggestions, they are very helpful. Your brand is not too bad just get rid of the bird in your negative space and you are done. Your brand looks like this > http://stocklogos.com/sites/default/files/tucan.png
By the way YOU DONT DRAW a castle, you ILLUSTRATE a brand element referring a castle.
@luenib castelo graphic projects is a sub company that only takes independent and fun projects for print. Such as fanzines, editorial design, illustration, etc.
It doesn't provide BRANDING services.
You are AWARE that there is a word for "logo doing" as you call it... it's BRANDING, please remember that.
By the way, exactly what is your area of expertise??? star shining? are you an astronaut? i can't tell from your profile pic.
"Critique" is an accepted and established process of orderly scholarly and public debate.
Just saying "Not going to work" is the same as using a handwritten logo as your brand... it can mean "Just Monkeys" or "Judgmental Moron" JM is too generic, and please, take this advice... the legibility of whatever is below that JM in your profile pic CAN'T BE UNDERSTAND. I suggest you use a bigger, more readable font.

Not going to work
Dear @joshtmoore:
"Critique" is an accepted and established process of orderly scholarly and public debate.
Just saying "Not going to work" is the same as using a handwritten logo as your brand... it can mean "Just Monkeys" or "Judgmental Moron" JM is too generic, and please, take this advice... the legibility of whatever is below that JM in your profile pic CAN'T BE UNDERSTAND. I suggest you use a bigger, more readable font.
Thanks for your..."critique"
too much going on
@boyd669 exactly what do you mean by "too much going on" ...is it like...
too much going on your mind? that is not a good thing it can cause baldness.
Thanks for your "critique". Very helpful now i can be sure i have too many elements and should do more simplified version of this brand.
