Unfortunately, this is not really good. Looks a bit random. If it was for some kind of far left political organisation, maybe you would have something, but even then , it wouldn't be very appealing.

The font really looks like it's one of the free type that comes with Windows.

Why highlight the LI?

Also, you do not need the TM, I don't think you are a trade mark.

sadly i have to agree with Shawali, the logo has a lot of potential , but in the way you did it is dark to claustrophobic. The game of colors is confunsing at the center. My advice is to stay with something ligher, perhaps have a white background and dark-red logo.....Oh and the star...look awful, condensing symbols and fonts is risky as hell, don't forget to press "shift" when you are transforming them ;) . and about TM, the client will put it there, this is not your job, take it out because it doesn't protect your logo.
