Brief from client
Design a logo for a small company called compworld which specializes in Graphic Design, Print and IT.
Consists of the CMYK printing colors and global graphics

You do not need the colored circles in the type if you have this big icon
There's potential with this logo, but it's not there yet.
I'd remove the circles in the font. They only complicate things.
I would also remove that terrible drop shadow, for it is ugly and would a bitch on print.
The font looks old and doesn't really convey any idea of digital. Serif rarely do that.

It's so typical. Now everyone is using different colored polyhedra
keep it simple...
