Conflicting Designs

Brief from client 

We have two people who are trying to redesign the company logo, however we cannot decide which option to progress further. One designer wants the logo simple for versatility in application and also brand recall. The other person wants the logo to be 'clever'.

This version is meant to represent a box with the letters HUB making the box. This has reflections and gradients.
