i like the symbol but it needs to be smaller and the text bigger and on an horizontal position for a better readability.

I think you should place the text differently and larger compared to the symbol.
I also think that you do not have to have the text is two different colors.

Symbol is good, but you may consider more white space between the squares, this because it is important to assure a good readability when the logo shall to be smaller.

About text: it is not good.

Another way to show your idea: why don't you create a number 3 symbol (plus D) with your squares, it could work, right?
