Wow, it IS really simple... REALLY simple... but I think I like it. The only thing I might contemplate changing would be the font below the D's.... Or relax the kerning a little.... but overall, I'd say job well done.

The idea is good and you did your best to execute it but you should have chosen a different font that gives out a more interesting shape for those two Ds.
