I like where you are going with this. I just do not like the type or placement of it. I would work on the type some

This has potential but it needs a better concept.
Retro style gives you endless options on how to make this logo strong and memorable.
Invest some time in 'retro style' research, it will pay off quickly.

Outline text doesn't work when there's too much to read.

I like the puppy. It doesn't look retro but has potential.
