Why only half the book is in green?

Also, you may want to fine tune the beak, which is not perfectly centered.

Beside that, this is a job well done!

I don't get that part of the owl that is holding a book, it doesn't look wingish/featherish to me - but looks as a bear holding a book with anatomical incorrectness .Also, the eyes the way they are done are on a border line to be mistaken for woman's breasts. Owl's feet seems totally unnecessary and they look awfully small. Some fine tuning need it on a graduation hat not be mistaken for a roof's chimney. Pupils are not centered inside both eyes. I don't know if it is just me, but the look on owl seems as a bird constipated. Perhaps, work a bit more on eye's expression. Other then that - it is a good quality logo. Book cover must be in one color and same goes for graduation hat. This logo could look a lot sharper if some changes can be considered. Also, in a title part " BOOK " - double ' OO " could be replace with owl's eyes to give that unique custom design on a font part.

This is all kinds of cute. I agree though, change that book to all green and do some fine tuning! :)

It is undoubtedly a good logo.
I think so too must make some adjustments.

Nice job. A fun little logo, and please whatever you do DO NOT use the 'oo' in book as eyes, ever.
