Deporticos is an electronic magazine about sports, that keeps people inform about the news of best sports tournaments around the world an of course of Costa Rica
The logo simplifys all client's requirements, I used 2 fonts one for the letters DT with the colors the client wanted, the red and the blue that are the strongest colors of the flag and to engaged the word ticos, that is the way people call Costa Rican people where the magazine comes from, also it has a gradient on the top of the letters to make them look a little bit fresh also it has a shadow to make them look out of the plane so not just like something that was stick I think It gives personality. the another tipography for the word Deporticos is very clear basically it's a game of words that combine the word Deportes ( sports) and ticos the way costa rican people is known as well, I use a gradient from gray to white to give it the touch of sofistication

You've started something here but get rid of the shadow. Do that first. The symbol font is kind of interesting to me but the "T" is difficult to identify. Dial back on the gradients. Right now they're all over the place and you logo shouldn't hinge on them anyway. Ask yourself if this still looks good without them. I do like the Blue and Red you've chosen. I don't think the line at the bottom is helping anything. Hope that helps.

I like the DT the tag line not so much, i would loose all the extra design styles to it like the shadows and go for a more flat clean modern approch
