This is definitely a better version than your first! Still needs a bit of refining. For starters, I get that the <> are for coding, but they look forced into that tiny space. If you want to keep these they will need a better location.
Maybe this is just me, but I kind of feel like the gold and blue meeting inside the "pen tool" creates a tension point as well. I'd say start with moving these symbols around to see if there is a better location for them. Also, for unity sake, you could match your AD to the same font you use to spell it out.
I think the whole pen nib inside the A and D is just a jumbled mess. Put this version on the back burner and start fresh. This just doesn't really work for me. It looks overly contrived.
