Deveneer Coding

Brief from client

Logo for a programming course in software development, in an area without any programming.
Show opportunity, growth, development

I used three light bulbs, going from blue to yellow, to show development and growth, also ideas and creativity which are often associated with lightbulbs. I added the "light rays" to further enhance the associations.
I chose a typewriter font to show computers and getting back to basics.

I like it. I'd play with either the colors or the thickness of the lines.
It could be the overlay. A little busy in the middle.

Sorry, but this logo looks way too shoddy and dated. The light bulb thing is the oldest idea in the book, it's be overdone.

This is unfortunately downright ugly, especially at such a low rez.

And what software did you use to do this? It looks pixel-based. Logos are made out of vector based softwares, like Illustrator.

i dont think this is constructive criticism. just want to put that out there. if you want to be helpful, you should offer ideas that can.... help. not drag some one based on your subjective thoughts.

i.e.in stead of this:

maybe:

the use of vectors could make this logo look cleaner and more professional. using vector based software like illustrator can help. there are a ton of free tutorials and free trials out there to help you out.

me again,

i think this is going in the right direction. you should make the top most image more clear and the other colors more in the background so they aren't competing for attention.

sidenote: hope some of the critics on here are discouraging you. i think your idea is solid. keep up the good work
