Brief from client
A small company that provides embroidery, silk screening and digitizing services.
-The font doesn't do anything for me, it's super plain and having it split into two colors isn't really helping, unfortunately.
-The D in the d... For one thing it's an idea that sure gets used a lot, which can be fine IF it works... but I don't think it works here. The ascender of the lower case 'd' protruding from the top of the capital D just looks all kinds of wrong, and the whole thing strikes me as rather mundane- like it only took a few minutes to put together and didn't take much thought.
All said, I'd start over and try to be a little more creative!!
I started out working for a screen printing and embroidery shop and from experience I can tell you that there is plenty to channel. try to put yourself in the middle of the shop. Picture the presses, screens, squeegees, inks, embroidery machines, etc. I get the idea that you used the initials to make your identifier (Dd) because you didn't have a vision of what to use. Put yourself in the shop and let your imagination run.
