Logo for an illustration company
Logo concept designs for a new illustration company. the top one is either a logo or mascot image with the bottom one being the imprint from the stamp thing on its hand

The illustration is cool but it doesn't mesh at all with the textured version below. The monkey is definitely not out of the question to keep for branding but It doesn't work as a stand alone logo and Shanuea is right about the texture being over the top. Take some time to develop the logo first and then you can start bringing the monkey illustration along for other uses.
ja i definitely agree with the logo, when i look at it now all i see is mistake! what if i simplify the monkey and make it like the wwf icon, plain black and white
It doesn't hurt to play. Sketch out some ideas and give it a whirl.
