"DJ" shouldn't overpower "Mannie", for the simple fact that the latter is what makes you unique. There are millions of DJ out there, but only one "Mannie" ;)

I don't know what you plan to do with this logo, but the drop shadow revealing the otherly white font on a white background doesn't make it pop.
