Brief from client
Boutique design studio. Dolphix = Dolphin + Graphix + Fix.
The icon represents Dolphin under the waves in a D in a puzzle style to represent fixing and graphics. The colours have been chosen as from the ocean. Trying to keep to a bright dolphin theme without making it masculine.

This logo looks very well crafted besides one major flaw: it reads "Olphix"
Substituting a character with a symbol is a tricky thing to achieve and in this case, it doesn't work.
The symbol in and out of itself looks really cool (although I don't really see a dolphin in there but that's besides the point) but it gets in the way of a good legibility.
Simply separate the it from the word mark and you'll have a really cool logo.
