Engine

Brief from client

No Brief

Engine is a online magazine for brazilian indie game developers.
It was inspired on russian constructivism, It is an Atari controller. The name Engine and russian constructivism came with the idea of helping the brazilian indie game developers to grow up and establish. Engine because what move the game is the game engine, that was one of our objectives, help the brazilian game industry move.

I'd like to see the button more rounded, so it translates more as a button. And in the original colors, with an orange button. The orange will work with the blues.
Looking good.
BTW- If you aren't familiar with Shepards work and like this type of design.. definitely check it out. We are from the same town and I have known him for 20 years.. he's been getting some flak lately but he creates some amazing stuff. His older stuff was all Constructivism based.

I think you need to work on the indicated area. It blends together, yet the stick supposed to be behind the front face of the cube.

I stayed off from critiquing this logo for some time because it's really hard to 'deconstruct' constructivism. And... I really like Russian constructivism style.

My main objection is that this looks too bulky and that gray circle is kinda out of place there, it really has nothing in common with this constructivistic sub style and look you are trying to achieve.

Also, if you are aiming for a real feel, colors need to be more subdued, vivid red is not going to cut it.
