Brief from client 

This client have a construction business, specialized in building hangars and sheds.

Am I being stubborn with this design and typo?

The good news is, your execution of this idea is 100% better than the last one. Unfortunately, the idea itself is still generic. Google "construction logo" and most of them have roofs or buildings included.

Like I said before, try to think of a clever way to convey a sense of construction without going with the typical roof-over-the-logo approach. Something I like to do is stare at the letters for a while, in multiple fonts. I try and make something out of them, and experiment with objects, symbols, and shapes and see if they juxtapose well.
