Brief from client
The client showed me examples of different logos and styles that they liked, and asked for the logo to be in black and white only.
Heres what i came with based on the examples they showed me.

Too bad, they want it in B/W only... I could see the whole thing made in browinsh/orangish with horizontal grill marks.
CAMOBAP - i agree with you about the colour, i did some variations with colour incase they change there mind:

I really like this of course. Two things: this f and t are dying to be ligatured =) And the shear angle isn't optimum. The stems of the characters should be straight, but they're not. See what I mean?
