Fundación Amigos con Patas

Brief from client

Animals / Happiness / Pets

This logo was designed for a small animal rescuers foundation. 'Amigos con Patas' means something like 'friends with paws' in spanish.

This is looking good- I like the idea, the symbol and the typography (your font isn't super exciting, but it works!). But that tongue- something feels off with the tongue. I think with the cuteness and the already "happy" expression on his face, you should just remove the tongue altogether. Off to a good start, tho!

Thanks for your reply. I added the tongue in that way to help identify the character as a dog. Here you can see the dog without the tongue, still lokes good imo.

Nicely done! It's cute alright. The tongue might need some fine tuning, but it's not a blocker.

Same could be done with the font. The one you pick is alright, but it would be nice to have another complimenting one. Like a cute script type (right now, I'm thinking of Palacio)

Good job!

Very cute! I like it better with a tongue, as with the colors, I first thought it might be a polar bear.

The stacked version works better than the horizontal one. I like the tongue too, don't omit that. I agree with Shawali, the font choice is a bit lacking of character. It's not bad but it doesn't really come across as cute or playful to me. As a suggestion, maybe you could try something less formal:
