Brief from client
We are a small pet care business, mostly focused on small dogs. Dog walking, visiting, feeding, overnight stays.
Audience is people who love their dogs and small pets, and want to make sure they are well looked after when they are at work or on holiday.
We would like professional people with good disposable income.
Design is very simple so it is easily transferable to stationary, cards, even products and works well in black and white. Graphic doubles as a puppy nose and a heart. This design is easily recognizable and the rounded edges and bubbly fonts give it that cartoon cute look without needing to deal with an actual complex cartoon dog that may not translate well in smaller sizes.

I like where this is going, but you're not quite there yet.
The symbol is interesting, but I don't think you need the nostrils. Maybe try to the complete heart and just add some whiskers below.
Arial rounded is in Comic Sans territory, for me =) And don't feel it works well with that cursive, which is good, BTW.
