Brief from client
Personal logo, integrate Web Design and branding in the logo (REFRESH)
Big up!
2 proposals of the same idea
branding + web design
Firstly, the spacing between the dots is off. Not certain there is a lot of branding to comment on. For someone who wants to get in the business of branding, this is initials and three unevenly spaced dots. I am underwhelmed.
Anyway, this logo still feels a bit too underwhelming, as Cooperads pointed out.
I think there are several elements you should avoid for a front-end developer logo, such as screens, mouse, brackets, that kind of stuff. Anything expected, really. A logo is more about leaving a durable impression than being informative.
Maybe you could make a very cool / minimalistic monogram with the GC letters. Lot only the spacing of the dots are off, i really don´t feel like they add anything to the logo. Keep working and sketching!
First off- it's best to add a version of your logo instead of replacing the image- all the comments make no sense now ^^^
But for this- A looks like QC. For B: the C is taking over the G. The letters should either break out of the box on the left and right only or on all sides. Here, its barely touching at the top which is a point of tension and feels off balance because of the space at the bottom.
You also have an issue of the word Design dominating the symbol- which it should be the other way around.
Work on a solid symbol first, then worry about the "design, etc" part. And really spend some time on this. You are trying to do branding as a business and (sorry to be harsh) but it looks like you spent maybe 4 mins on this.

ouch! Thanks cooperads!
Is this a font you created yourself? If so, first awesome job, then it's not really put to its advantage with this logo.
I'd ditch that blue rectangle and make that font much more prominent since it's what you do ;)
Keep it up!
thanks for your answer
the typography is not mine
I think I'll change things in the logo
Dude, my bad, I misread "front" for "font" ;)

Can't wait to see the next version ;)
