Brief from client
I'm in the process of officially becoming an independent designer. Please provide your thoughts on this business name and logo. -Megg
i dont get the idea behind this?? why is it called GG design Group? y have you put the 2 g's in brackets? the g's look really boring, there is nothing creative here, if your going to use 2 g's try to find a way of joining them together or doing something abstract/creative with them to make them into a symbol rather than just having 2 g's next to each other. I also dont like the font on the subtext that much. i think theres a lot of work still to be done here.. good luck
I like the idea of emphasizing the uniqueness of your name but I'm not a huge fan of what you've got here. Unless people already know the story of why you have the two g's it doesn't translate well. I would consider using your full first name and work in something unique to highlight the two g's.
Hi,
I think you're going to have to push this a bit farther. Your idea is sound but these G's are anything but unique. The letter G is an unusual and interesting shape. Push it's boundries and show it off a bit.
Try to avoid just using a straight up font for the G's when they are playing such an integral part of the logo. Pick something that stands out and that you like. Then cut, chop, slice it and dice it to make it your own.
This logo is your opportunity to show people what you are capable of. This attempt isn't selling your creativity.
I like the name GG -- it really doesn't have to be so literal like using your full name. People will ask why, but it's also more memorable.
I agree with briankav about making the Gs into a symbol of your own.
Good luck! :)

:) It's because I have 2 g's in my name, Meggan.
I *really* appreciate your suggestions and feedback.

I don't mind the gg so much- but the font you picked makes it look a LOT like the Google 'g' - for me, that'd be a problem!!
