Brief from client
Logo is for an online gift registry, aimed to depict "tides" or "waves" of care and generosity. Client wanted an upbeat feel with earthy/pastel tones.

Sorry, this is just not happening for me.
You have a major composition problem here. The whole thing is really unstable and unbalanced.
The main font is utterly boring and the subtext is way too small and will be barelu readable when you scale down the logo.
You have two symbols too many here. Either keep the wave or the heart, or at least find a way to merge them into one symbol. Other wise this are too many things going on at the same time.
The colors are very dull and unappealing. And please, get rid of that terrible drop shadow, it just look way too unprofessional.
Globally, it looks you went straight to Illustrator without having sketched anything before hand. A good logo always start with a pen and a piece of paper.
Good luck!!
I'm not getting it either. I don't like the cut out the text creates or how the lines join the heart. The colors remind me of a fabric softener.
