Greek Honey "Meleni"

Brief from client
We've asked to design a logo for a Greek traditional company that produces honey with the name "Meleni".
We used more craft and handwriting typographic elements so to have the feeling of the traditional and rustique.

Can you re-post without the distracting bars down the side please?
It sort of looks like they thought this company was called Greek, but then found out it wasn't named that so they scratched the word Greek out and changed their name to Honey Meleni by using a marker.
I don't think this says "traditional and rustic". At all. A font that pretends to be handwriting (and sloppy handwriting too) doesn't really work here.
If I were you I'd study some wine and Mediterranean food labels. Think "old fashioned".
