Improve the original logo.
This is a logo for a company with Fullstack developers, a part of the profits they make is given to their GreenFund which they use to do donations to green projects for a better future.
The client requested to use a gradient color for the symbol to have depth because it also represents a stacked box. I'm not convinced on the look of the gradient. Any tips to improve this?
The logo represents a combination of 2 symbols, a stack (fullstack developers) and a leaf (greenfund).
What do you think of the logo overall?

Overall, I think this looks great.
The gradient isn't prominent enough to be recognised as a gradient in my opinion. Maybe you intended this because you didn't want a gradient? ;)
Personally I'd try a definite difference in colour between the top of the box, front/right vs the left of the box and have a slight gradient between the two colours, which will add depth and tick the gradient box for the client. It might work, might not, but worth a try.
Overall it's looking tidy - nice job :)
Clever icon. I agree with the above, the gradient is a tad too subtle.
