Brief from client
Hey all, I'm creating a logo for myself with my name initials (T-M).
Business: Design.
Name: TM
So, if you can, please give me your critiques, It will help me ALOT.

So i made this on your opinions, which I am very gratefull.
Modifications:
Background color: Chose blue, may change depends on service, but that's ahead of this stage,
Background effect: Made it vector instead of effect (Texturizer)
Stroke: made simplier and none automatic from illustrator.
Removed shadow for the letters.

It's better. I still don't get the hand made feel I'd like to see in this logo though.
Did you apply some kind of filter in the background? If so, don't!!! =)
You should also make a iteration without the circle.
Hey, Probably, the effect around the circle isnt perfect yet? xD
yeah the circle as a light effect ^^.
And as for the iteration without the circle, i think i will go with the letters alone in the blue color. Should be enough no?

Nice. You can keep them both.
Just for sake of trying, you should get out a paintbrush and make your own circles. You can then scan those in to work from. When you are going for a 'handmade" feel, no computer program can beat actual hand. made. =)

Hmm hey all! I'm sorry for all this trouble.
Well I couldnt find anything to make that brush and scan, so I tried one last time to make one digitally.
I like this one, it's simple and it kinda does the job!

The simple stroke-less circle version and the circle-less version both work (but you have to get rid of that Gaussian blur though!). You can keep them both.
Remember, this is more a graphic signature rather than a corporate logo. You're a human being, not a company ! =)

I honestly prefer the simplicity of just the circle. It's clean, concise, it works. (much better than the computer generated stuff!) =)
Now i have to decide which one to choose haha!
You can use several different iteration of a logo, depending on what medium it will be used.
Yes i will use the first one as main logo, that can be adapt to other situations as a circle or even a square. the "tm" is the main element here. I think I'm saying this corretly
