This is my personal freelance design logo.
Play on words/spelling.
I have been using this for years, but I wanted to get others professional opinions.
Ok, I'm going to be blunt: this isn't working at all.
What seems to be the wordmark reads "on Grafix". Nobody will make the connection with the eye and that, sorry to say, super corny pun. And I think the fact that you felt you had to spell it out in the sub text proves that it just doesn't work.
Regarding the general composition, it's a mess. Every element seems randomly placed. The wordmark is a big black mass that makes the whole thing very right heavy and put it totally off balance.
You have 3 different fonts in this already very busy logo. And non of them are a good choice. Especially that terrible Comic Sans looking script font.
You also have the word "graphix" twice, which super redundant.
The big eye is fighting for attention with the word mark and this white stroke you had to put around these letters just complicate things further. And that terrible gradient make the whole thing look very amateurish.
Finally, the name itself sounds very dated, back when it was cool to replace the -ics syllable with -ix.
So if you've been using this logo for years, I can only suggest revamping entirely because but it looks terribly unprofessional and uncreative. You will need a better idea, fonts and creative process.
Nothing works on this logo. I'm sorry. It's best if you don't use a logo at all. Start over fresh and keep it simple!
