Brief from client
Redesigning a troublesome logo just for my own practice. This company is a herbal medication company (backed by science, but all natural). I've done some photography for them in the past and they have had me do some type layout ontop of said photos including placing their logo. This logo is awful. It is so detailed and thin that it just disappears on all photos unless it is gigantic. So for my own practice I'm trying to make it stronger and stand out more against other media. I'll post the original logo in the comments.

Original logo
Nice one! Definitely a major step up from the original logo. Some curves of the logo need some tweaking, but overall, the symbol looks really cool.
I'm not a fan of the font work, though. Mostly because the subtext, "botanicals", overpowers the word mark. Just spend more time on this to find the right balance, spacing, proportion. Long names can be a bit tricky.
But good job overall!
Your revision is definitely more modern and pleasing to the eye, good work!
Only gripe I have is the same as Shawali's, the font can be improved a little. I think that also since the subtext is really wordy that it can easily become overpowering when you use different fonts, with long names keeping it simple can help. Try it in the Blanch font, Arvil, or maybe Bebas. Condensed fonts with proper spacing/kerning that would make your subtext less intimidating.
Hope this helps!
