Brief from client
campaign to promote studying IT by women.
This logo and the previous one were created to a competition for secondary schools. I know that it's not perfect - to put it mildly ;) but that's the reason why i put it on this page. I want to know what mistakes i have to avoid in the future. After that, i won't upload my stuff, i promise ;)

Sorry- this one isn't working either. You need to think about what you are trying to communicate. What does your logo say to your audience? If there were no text to support it, would that idea come across?
You have a faceless gal with no legs sitting on a couch.. in a wind storm apparently... Now- what does that communicate?
I don't know either.
I think you need to study the art of graphics and communication. Check out this post. It's a good jumping off point. There are a lot of resources out there.

Study up- practice and come back. : )
you are right, thanks a lot for this comment - harsh but true ;P and really really thanks for a link ;)
I think your Laptops are not recognizable and the above comment said it all. This just isn't working either sorry.
Once you have read (a lot) about logo design theory, browse around and find other groups and associations that promote and support the participation of women in IT. Take a look at their logos, see how subtle is they graphic representation of women in their designs.
Keep posting your designs.
