Brief from client
Pop up kitchen, supper club logo, Caribbean tapas, eating,
2 chefs hiring random kitchen. We need simple logo do depicts oír concept of carriers twisted tapas.
There are way too many elements for this to be considered simple. Definitely simplify because you have multiple competing elements and your text overlapping the symbol creates a mess in the middle that makes it harder for anyone piece to stick out clearly. You have some nice colors but there are too many. The ampersand in this font is really bugging me as well. I get the Marley silhouette's relevance but it just isn't fitting with the style of any other elements present. Sketch around some more and try to walk this back a little bit. Also keep in mind that your final product will need to work just as well as a one color version. Keep at it!
I agree with the comments above, and will also add that the swash of yellow-orange under the sun muddies things up and feels a bit unnecessary. I like how you've outlined the blue wave with a darker shade of blue - have you tried using the same technique on the "Izzy & Irie" text? Or, once the symbol is simplified by removing the silhouette and the swash of yellow-orange, the text might look best with no stroke at all. I'll look forward to seeing version 2!

Jonny boy pretty much nailed it with his comment. This rastaman silhouette feels totally out of place.
You light have something with the palm tree, island and wave, although it may look a bit too generic.
The choice of font is pretty cool, but the big ampersand is also bugging me.
You need to get back to the drawing board. Or more precisely to the piece of paper and simplify this whole thing.
keep working on it!

i have to agree with everything that was said, way too much going on and too many colors
does not describe the purpose of the logo, many colors and elements, is a diner or a beauty parlor on the beach
