Looks like the dog is having some problem. Eye poked out or something. Disturbing.

I kind of had the same initial response that was mentioned above- like a dog is getting it's eye poked by a cursive letter 'i'....!? If you want that I incorporated somehow (does it stand for something and need to be there?) you should think of a way to do so without it attacking the pooch!!

I actually like the idea but the comments are right. Why not use the dot as the eye patch and make it look more like a spot on the dog rather than some sort of abuse.
