It seems a bit generic to me. I like the use of initials as your logo- it has been done a lot- but it works, especially when you find "your" personal way of portraying it and it is unique. But the placement and shape of the "k" is throwing things off a bit.
And, sorry to be blunt, but it feels (and looks) like you spent very little time on it and it was all work done on the computer. People can always spot that a mile away. Try sketching some ideas, that will help you find something that is more unique!

I agree with Joy. There's not much inspiration or work behind this logo. It lack a personal touch, a human factor.

Same thing I said to your classmates, if you do the whole creative process directly on your computer, you're doing it wrong. It doesn't come at the end, when you a pretty good idea of what you're going for, thanks to the hours you spent sketching with pen and paper.
