JV Graphics

I'm not seeing much inspiration in this. The J isn't very pronounced and I didn't start looking for the V until I saw the name in your post. Graphics looks like it was just stuck on as an afterthought. I would also suggest staying clear of gradients until you have a logo that works with one color first. Every good logo will need to function well when only one color is available.

I'm guessing this is a personal logo project. Does this say anything about you or your approach to design? Do some image searches to see what others have done to learn what works and hat doesn't. Take some time to really contemplate what you're wanting to achieve and scratch it down on paper for a while. Then, get back to Illustrator, start in black and white and bring your sketches to life.
