Brief from client 

Celebration 10 years of success.

What comes after 10 years of great success? Expansion, expansion, expansion... What better way to celebrate this great milestone than a refreshed branding.

KHULA-USE was simply created using the founders' surname, Sipho Khuluse together with his wife Mandisa Khuluse. It is in IsiZulu language which means; (Khula - Grow) (Use - In Wisdom).

What are your thoughts?

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but this is doesn't really work for me.

Overall, it looks like a logo for the 80's, especially with that color combination.

The composition is needlessly complicated and that circle next to the symbol isn't helping.

The symbol itself, with the initials is not great, as initials-based logos sometimes are, but I like that yellow bit and how it is cut off from the rest of the character, which makes it quite memorable.
