What bugs me is that it's taekwondo but the symbol has kind of a mexican feel to it. I'm not saying it's bad, but you either push it a lot further on the roots of the symbol (mexican) or on the roots of what you're trying to represent (which is a korean martial art) or just stay clear of any particular "ethnic" connotation.
That being said it's a nice job, though it needs more work.

The hawk was the symbol of the academy, this was the reason for the choice.
