Logo for personal portfolio site focusing on web and graphic design.
Wanted to convey a sense of modernity, simplicity, and streamlined design. Feel like it might be a little too simple though.

Well I don't see it as modern. It looks like a 90's logo.
It may or may not be too simple. Can we try something different with the LF besides the multicolored layers and then see how it looks.
The bottom font is nice, I would lose the italics, lower the tracking, and make it a little bigger.
It cant look modern because layers of "LF" is not good idea
If you want a brand new logo go to Behanse or Dribble and carefully look works of best designers
