Lingle

I'm so torn! I actually really REALLY love this for the most part. I think the fonts are lovely, and they actually work together, I love the weird "E" and the inverted i- which are typically things I would suggest NOT doing, but here (for me, anyway) they totally work. I'm assuming that the company name is Lingle, yes?)

It's super simple, the script-y subfont is risky (if it gets small it'll be REALLY hard to read) but I can't help but love it. For some reason the thing as a whole really works for me.

Maybe others will come rip it apart, I don't know. But I love it. (Do I wish there were some color? Sure I do. But it's really pretty.)

PS- I just noticed that it's for clutch purses- which for some reason makes it even better for me! Good job!!

I really like the Lingle part. For me the aesthetics part doesnt go with the lingle part, its like they a fighting with each other. I think you need to choose a way simpler font for the Aesthetics and neatly put it underneath Lingle, i think that will finish off your logo and add a touch of class. I think its fine in Black and white and would ultimately depend on how your going to use it and what kind of backgrounds it will be used on to determine colours, i suppose it could be done in any colour! Great start!

Ok, I would have put green thumbs all across the board if it weren't for a few pesky details that keep your logo in the "potential for greatness" zone, a few inches away from the "damn gurl! Your logo is da shit" zone. Yup, that's my French male ass trying to sound like an Afro American woman. Sorry =)

So, about those pesky details. Globally, the logo is a bit too complicated. There are basically 2 graphic ideas while there should be only one. You got that upside down i and that E that looks like a ruler. I like the latter but I would reverse it, so it looks more like an E. The way it is, it's a bit confusing. But as Sara pointed out, you generally should keep those graphic ideas to a minimum.

About the subtext, it looks good but, I don't know, maybe it's not "solid" enough. Especially with that big element right above it. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but you're not totally there yet. Try to make it bigger. But keep those strings on each side, they are really cool.

So here, I'm in sync (again) with my BOTW girlfriend Sara. The force is strong with this one. You just need to Yoda it up a little bit.

And congrats for hand drawing this. It's a rare feat around these parts. And it especially works for your logo. It really gives the idea of hand made clutch purses and a great human factor.

This is nice and unique. I really can't stand the "E", only because of the extra cross members. It looks like a ruler, and trying to interpret what it is takes away from the overall look. I can read "aesthetics" and like the contrast between it and Lingle, but it might be hard for some.
