Brief from client
Logo for self
this is a proposal for my own logo, please make your critiques constructive...mainly because i am still studying XD
The font is weird, it looks like some bastard son of Papyrus (yuk).
AND then below that is the bastard son of Comic Sans (double yuk).
The double underline just repeats an element that wasn't necessary in the first place.
The symbol you are using doesn't seem to have anything to do with design. Unless I'm missing something? It looks more like an engagement ring or something planetary... As with the underline, the outline here is repetitive and doesn't add anything to the design.
The colors aren't inviting. I would try working in black and white and add color once it is successful if color will add to the design.
I'm sorry to bust you down like this, but you are here for a critique. I hope I have been helpful. I would immerse yourself in the web. There are a lot of resources out there for design. Start with this one. Follow links form there out.
Thank you very much for your very me«uch complete and, let's face it, correct assessment.
I shall take these comments in to consideration when I'm doing this.
No idea, no knowledge of typography, questionable color choice, bad execution... I think you need to study some more before attempting to create a logo.
