I am working on a logo to represent my company, I am not a professional logo designer so I really need some pointers here. Thank you!
Well I'll spare you the sad red thumbs down. since you are new to this. But here is my advice- Keep it Simple! Right now the name appears as "Kitchen Specialist" since it is at the top. I am assuming your name is Constantin??? Which begs the question- why the additional C? There are some hierarhcy problems that confuse the design here. The ruler is appropriate- but not for a logo- even if it is relevant- those lines will get lost in small uses (for instance a business card).
Spend a little time researching other business similar to yours and how their logos look. Go on pinterest! Read some articles on color, font, etc. Then start sketching some ideas. Feel free to even just upload a sketch for critique!
But keep in mind- you get what you pay for! Sometimes it might be best to hire a professional, invest that money to get something great!

But getting the right logo myself would mean that I finally captured the essence of my business.
