I get an F from the E and an N from the D. What other concepts did you have?

I guess you get that cause you don't know the the word in spanish. Did you read both "the" in my previous sentence? That's what our brain does, it sees some shapes together and simplifies them to something we already know (it doesn't make sense to read two "the" together.

So, upon seeing these letters together, a spanish speaker would almost always understand what it says.

If the word is only half there, then this doesn't work. That is because of your 'Y'.

Even if my brain knew what the word ATREVIDA was, it would still think this is ATREYIDA, (or ATRFYIDA) because that is not what half a V looks like, that is what half a Y looks like.

I see your point but I don't truly think the brain tears apart every letter to form a word, we may go back then and say "Uh, that V is weird, I should only see half of it", but our first impression doesn't take into account every letter.

For instance, according to what you said you would read BEHAYOUR instead of BEHAVIOUR here:

Stop! It's breaking my mind!

However, looking at it now, if you just moved the 'yv' down a smidgen, it would 'break' out of being in the half-a-word section and (to me at least) look more like a v, and not a half y! :)

Color me crazy, but I think this works.

I read Artevida right away/ It's "Atrevida", right? =)

Thanks for your comments guys, I know I may sound defensive, but I'm just trying to prove a point.
And one more thing! Even if it looks like half a Y it could still work out as part of the identity cause that V is so /audacious, bold, naughty/ that it moved up away from where it should be.

First time comment. Thanks for the description, but I'm not seeing it here. What I do see is that this idea has great potential. Bold, audacious and naughty can have many possibilities. You have a good start.

One thought is that the custom font being used could be possibly contoured more to a curvature of a feminine body because (currently) it seems to me obscured by something, what that something is-I don't know, therefore my eye has to work harder in identifying what it is.

Alluring, sexy or even a naughty symbol will keep the attention creating interest imo.

A logo should be clear enough that anyone would "get it" right away- you will not be there every time some one sees it to give your explanation.
I read ATREVINA at first look.
I do like where it is going, but maybe could benefit from some more clarity.

Why did you remove your logo?
