I kinda like it! The first word that comes to mind when looking at this logo is "octane", and I feel this would fit well slapped onto the hood of a white nascar.

Things I see wrong with it:
The overall balance feels a bit off.
The subhead "V" is way to close to the mark.
The text doesn't feel connected as a lockup.

I think the balance issue comes from the extended ascender and descenders. What if you did something like merge them into an outer box that turns the whole mark into a nice clean square? That could also give you opportunity to add the name below or somewhere else where it ties in better. Although that could ruin how dynamic the mark feels. Maybe all it needs is for the V ascender to be higher up. Keep working!

Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree about the subhead "v" being to close, didn't see that at all. Just one question, what do you mean by 'outer box'?

I've also created a full word logo, what do you think?

Sorry but this it not working at all.

Globally I find this logo uninspired, bland and very unpractical.

Another example of how one should never create a logo from scratch directly on the computer.

Here's the abridged version of what you should be doing instead.

- Market research: what is the lay of the land for this kind of business? What are the trends of brand identities within it?

- Inspiration: www.pinterest.com

- Sketching: a huge amount of it. No computer, only pen and paper.
