Logo modernization

Brief from client
Hi everyone! This is a logo for a client, I designed the original logo for them a couple of years ago and now they asked me to update it. They make wedding and quinceañera invitations so they want something delicate with a modern typography. You can see the original logo here: http://tienda.estudiomiu.com.ar/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/logo1.png
Any suggestion or observation is welcome! Thank you

the circle part is nice. I can't tell if that's an alien or a cat part of the problem is that the i looks like a mouth. but I like it better than their original.
Hi! Thank you so much for your input! Are you refering to the i or the dot of the i?
the i, the dot reads as a nose.
Ursula, que tal :)
I think this is great. The cat in the white space is phenomenal and since it's isometric/perspective is even better.
Now, the problem I'm having is the 'tilde', it's competing with the cat face. If I was you I would go as far as removing it and asking the client to do so. The phonetic sound of a cat "meowing" does not have to have a 'tilde', especially if it's a brand.
By removing the tilde all the attention will be on the cat in the white space, which after all, is what the company's image is based on... NOT the tilde.
Tough sale for sure, but you have nothing to lose if you agree with my idea.
Anyhow, moving on.
The slogan and tagline around are too small, you reduce that logo to business card size and you won't be able to read that text.
Also, pick one tagline, not two. Instead of simplifying and streamlining the logo you're cluttering it.

Great job! Keep it up.
I'm not a (fluent) foreign speaker, but I thought tildes/accents/umlauts aren't optional?
it is good
i like it
Super! Good job!
