mi owl
Brief from client
I'm creating a non-comercial, web-based library site where Canadian medical clinics and small hospitals each can create their own library of the documents, such as medical directives, program descriptions, standing orders, administrative policies, that they use to function and provide care. The site will host their library (or more exactly their cybrary) and also allow them to search through the libraries of other clinics and hospitals found there. The goal is to facilitate the access of information within and between these health care organizations. MI OWL is the acronym for Medical Interprofessional Open source Web-based Library. The use of this site will be for free. There will be no advertisements associated with it. The program itself will be, as stated in the acronym, open source. This is not a commercial venture, but an attempt to improve our Canadian health care system.

many elements in the owl
Simplify the owl into a good looking recognisable symbol. Make it so unique that it is easily identifiable without the company name next to it. Not a fan of the colours either. But with this idea there is a lot of ideas you can get from it. Get at it and show us some more submissions. Looking forward to it.
I like the idea, but the owl looks bad.
Draw a new and attractive but simple (I know it's not be easy...) owl, with big owl eyes (these eyes like an eagle...) what the users can easily identified (like natman said).
maybe like this:

The lower text is very small, no one can read it if it is use thumbnail size. Maybe write it 2 lines.
I don't know about the colors, i will waiting the new owl...
