Mike Frase Construction

Brief from client

He is a residential contractor so no hard hats or anything like that. His deal is skill saws, ladders, hammers etc. So whatever graphic you could come up with and then add his information would be great.

I added a version for color, and changed the text a bit to make it a bit less dull. I also fixed a typo in the guy's name. Whoops! Glad it was caught sooner rather than later.

Nice, I like this font a lot more. It definitely looks better with a bit of color as well.

The only thing I would say now is increase the font size just a bit so it is even with the blades, like so.

Yeah, I tried to line it up with the initials, but it does make more sense to fit it along with the blades. Good call.

I'm not feeling this one. Way too aggressive for a construction company. Plus, this type of wheel would be more appropriate for a lumber jack/wood cutting business.

Not a fan of the fonts also. The top one is too futuristic and not really consistent, proportion wise. Same goes with the bottom one. Both don't compliment each other also.

Keep sketching =)

Fair points. I used a saw because the client uses a skill saw, as mentioned in the brief. It's more of a small business, rather than a large company. I'll play around with the fonts more.
