I'm not getting a monk from this, sorry. Cool symbol, but it's not portraying what's intended.

I can see the monk. something off about that white triangle, and I'd work on making the "legs" cube more uniform in size, not narrowing at middle point. maybe elongate the head, so it more resembles a head.
