Love the Mosaic font - could I ask what it is? Mosaic needs kerning attention and the strapline is too small for legibility.
The symbol is bizarre in my opinion. I thought that it was an orange with diamond detailing and a twinsting mechanism on top (I'm probably fucked according to Rorshach) and I asked someone's opinion, who said that it looked like a person with MC hammer trousers.. so I guess it's not clear enought, but evidently this may be down to opinion.
I'm interested in other people's opinions. I think it's going in the right direction but changes need to be made in order to be effective in communicating what it needs to.
I didn't see the symbol was a dervish until I looked at the comments. I saw some sort of jellyfish sea creature that slightly resembled a palette. The outfit does not look like it is flowing (like in the photo) at all. I also had a very hard time seeing the music symbols without looking at the comments. Could there be something to replace the musical notes like a recognizable instrument played during the tanoura dance?
The type is decent. The main title looks hand made while still looking clean. I think "art & culture" could be made slightly more legible by increasing size and adjusting tracking accordingly.
I really like the symbol, and I agree with what the others said about the type. But I also have some suggestion about some details: try a version without the gradients. Also, regarding the white lines and dots: make the lines a bit thicker, to stand out, and make the dots follow the curves, not in a straight line, they look like they don't belong there. Good luck, can't wait to see your next version.

its a combination between the tanoura dance + music and art ..
Or a combination of a guy in MC Hammer pants with a Shriner's hat on.
this was the sketch of the client .. as the logo brief .. :D
I really like this logo! I totally got the tanura/dervish thing.
My only beef is with the fonts, not that they're bad (they're not) but the word mark is badly kerned and the subtext is way to small to be readable.
Other than that, great work!
Really thank u :D shawali .. i appreciate that :D ... but i thought if i made the font like this to make the icon appear more !
i totally saw the dervish!! that looks sharp i would maybe change the font though

I do like the color. Effective use of gradients.
