I don't dislike the symbol, I guess... but no colors!? No text!!? It's hard for me to say much about it without any context. I think it's a cute symbol, unique and fun... but I'd really like to have something else to go off of. (Colors and text, mainly!)
Color scheme is so blegh! Since you mentioned Paisley, I'm very surprised that it isn't colored in. Right now it's not fully developed and I can't help that it reminds me of some dark unborn fish fetus or something along those lines. Also Paisley is extremely detailed and may not be the best idea for a logo, I mean it will definitely be recognizable which is due to its shape, but not many people knows what Paisley is (I literally went OH" that's paisley" after googling).
Go with a warm color scheme and try your best not to use some crazy colors like a pink or purple.
At most, it looks like a logo for an art exhibit right now. A gray-scale art exhibit... lol

ok, this is nope.....It look unbalanced like a falling bird, the symbol is too empty.

I agree with sara,
I need more to go off of.. any text would be awesome!
I don't understand at all what it stands for. A fish? A tongue?
There is no typography and there are no colours!
