Sorry for the late feedback.
This is not really working. It just doesn't say anything about the brand. With something called "MyUpBeat", you would expect something feisty, hopeful but instead we get something super dull and depressing. This logo would turn off anyone and this is the exact opposite of what it should do.
The main problem is, as it is for most of the not so good logos we get here, that you obviously made this straight on the computer, or at that you didn't spend too much working on this, with a proper creative process.
It should go like that: do some research about the brand's market, the competition, etc. Get inspired by other logos, brandings, etc Have a glance at these sites for starters: www.logopond.com www.dribbble.com www.pinterest.com Then, turn off your computer and spend hours sketching out ideas on paper. This is the most crucial step of the whole process. It will help you shape ideas in your mind and refine them without the constraint of computer.
